The Old English Hotel Matlock

One of the en-suite bedrooms at the Old English Hotel in MatlockThe Mattocks built the Old English in 1881. At first it had three upper ground floors but unfotunately, in 1884 a fire took hold and wiped away the top floor. It took a while but the Mattocks fortunately managed to restore the Old English to it's former glory.

All our rooms are en-suite, have tea/coffee making facilities and a colour TV. We boast a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are willing to help in any way they can. We also enjoy looking after our customers and making sure they have a wonderful stay. We are happy to cater for all large groups and facilities. Please discuss your requirements with us.

We ahve two public bars, The Old English Pub and Shakespeare's Wine Bar, both of which have beer gardens to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our accommodations is very reasonably priced and our rate includes a full English breakfast.
